apparently thats what happens when you get to much sun and use to little sun screen. lets just hope that it turns into a nice golden brown vs making me look all diseased when i peel.
been spending a lot of time swimming as if that is any surprise i mean after all it is summer and thats what we do all summer long.. swim swim swim ~ but this past sunday was different. little ron bugged me to take him on a long swim up one of the channels.. it takes you to the main highway near our house but up further than we live because of course we are going by water.. it was probably around a 2 mile swim total. we take floaties .. normally we prefer to use *noodles* but since we havent yet invested in them this year (they will be purchased this friday) we opted to use the boogie boards ~ talk about killer on your shoulders from swimming with them .. well mainly hauling them along while you swim to have access as needed to rest ~
poor erik came with us this time, now its not that he isnt a huge fan of water its more that he likes to see the bottom and the bottom is just not *see'able* in the sound so he tends to freak out a bit *lol* .. so anyways me, lil ron, heather, sean, and erik all headed off on our 2 mile swim .. it was fun although i have heard that erik wont be joining us on our next *venture* as he didnt quite care for the swim *lol* maybe we can get him to understand that its much much different with noodles than it is with boogie boards. sean to i think will *bow out* of our next channel swim but i know that lil ron is totally game and looking forward to it. i think he will even join us watching the neighborhood parade on the 4th as we float around in the boat dock area to laugh at the *goofs*
funny thing is .. just about everyone in the parade is the neighborhood .. not to many watchers to watch it going the *big block* although we will be there to laugh as they drive by.
ah dont get me wrong.. its all in fun.. both on our part as it is theirs but it does make you wonder when they decided to do this big 4th party around our small neighborhood.. i believe it was after chris's uncle built his house.. now this man is known for loving blues and the bands to come play.. has a big *whoopdee doo* of a birthday party from what i understand.. his gift, something like $20.00 paid by each person who comes to celebrate with him. he provides all of the food and the band, im half tempted to want to pay the cash only because i know its delbert mcclinton that he has for that special occasion.. hmm let me see if i can link something here for those to know who im talking about ~
have a little faith in me
and my favorite.. if i can find it... sending me angels
sending me angels is one of my already chosen funeral songs.. maybe a little morbid to pick that out myself but i like it so im good *smiles*
anyways.. they do this big whoopdee doo now at the end of one of the roads... complete with blues band and fireworks.. we skip the party, instead we roast marshmellows, enjoy the band from a few streets over and watch the fireworks fly ~ the neighborhood party just isnt our thing, its a drunk fest so to speak and not our cup of tea, specially with the kids and all. so we do things our way just having fun and enjoying our 4th.
today was moms birthday.. well today as in the 29th.. so Happy Birthday mom.. she turned 57 yrs old..
ron is working tonight, should be home shortly.. no swimming for us tomorrow as wyatt has his recheck appointment on his ear, hoping the infection is finally gone. but we shall see and see what to do if its not.
Owen took a few steps on his own tonight, not sure if he realized what he was doing or not. he was pretty busy holding onto his bottle in his mouth and just took like 3 steps towards me.. in no time flat he will be free walking! hard to believe that in just over a month he will be 1 years old! i think i have decided to do monkeys for his first birthday party theme.. but still need to hit the party supply store before making the final decision. so far monkeys stick out because he loves this one stuffed monkey that belongs to wyatt.. hes pretty much taken it over as his own...
anyways.. so thats pretty much whats been going on.. swimming swimming and more swimming to come!

happy fathers day
not sure what our plans are today if anything.. got ron a few cards .. so far he has gotten the card from me and the one from little ron, but will have to wait on wyatt and owens until they get home from moms house tonight.
thought about seeing if he wanted to do a bit of geocaching today, maybe the harder to do ones that i wonder if wyatt would have the patience for .. but as for now he is enjoying some relaxing time in the living room watching myth busters with little ron.
hope all the daddies out there have a wonderful fathers day!

Hunting for treasure.. Family fun!
The other day ron and I were watching tv.. Don't ask me what because like most men, he was ruling the remote.. But it was a good thing he did.
They had this bit on geocaching (www.geocaching.com) which is about to become some awesome family fun for us so I had to share ..
Basically you go to the web site and look in your area (or if your vacationing look there too).. Than you get the gps coordinates and go hunting. For some you won't need the gps because the area is easy to find and clues do follow.. So you could do it that way.
Anyways we have several in our local area that we are going to try to find.. One is located near bobs sink hole.. Which we found ourselves passing recently on a nature hike with the boys and clyde..
Okay so what do you find? A treasure! Nothing over the top.. But if you take something, replace it with something else and sign the log, you also update it online.. Example *found it 6-20-09 took poker chip left bouncy ball*
No there is no million in the dirt but the fun of the treasure hunt is the hunt itself.. Take a lunch, a few drinks and make a day of it!
Can't wait till we do our first.

Operation haircut complete
I didn't have to look like a dork because the lady who cut wyatts hair wasn't there. Those who know me would be super proud that I managed to put my big girl panties on and follow the unknown stylist to her station and let her mess with my hair.
I'm not sure where my fear of hair cutters come from.. Maybe its because as a child I never really remember going to one or maybe its from that time my sister decided it was a future career option for her which led our aunt to drag us to the school she went to and them giving my sister that book with the two *step by step* cuts in it which led to me being her life sized dummy leaving me from butt length hair to barely past my ears hair.. Oh what a horrid memory that is for me.
None the less I braved it today and was pleasently surprised with how much time she put into my head.. I almost feel bad that I used the coupon but man only $3.00 who seriously couldn't use it?
So of course I did use it and I proudly walked out with my $3.00 hair cut.. Okay maybe not proudly but I did walk out..
Don't get me wrong I am happy with the cut, I'm just trying to figure out why you tend to walk out looking like a poodle or with bad bed head..
Needless to say we had to swing by the store so no running home to dunk my head asap.. I had to brave it.. But I think women understand and those who don't a simple nod and *yeah I brushed it.. I just got it cut* than they just look at you like *ah I get it*
The car ride home didn't help more I actually became more poodle'ific so walking in the house needed more encouragement ..
Don't miss understand I love rons sense of humor he keeps me laughing that's for sure! But I knew the jokes would fly as soon as he saw me. And boy was I right.. He even told me that his mom may still have a pick from the 1980's.. Of course clyde was only following me around because I was so poodle'ific looking.. Thankfully once I dunked my head and did it right, he told me he really liked it. Which is a good thing because the chances of me getting him to drive me around the block with my head hanging out the window in my best attempt to re-do the doo she did is probably next to zilch.
All in all things were good and I'm happy so that's all that matters..

Getting my hair cut today
At that place I recently took my older boys. Hope'n they don't screw it up to bad.
Funny thing was I had to text my *sister* sue this morning to find out hair place ediquite (major spelling issue there) .. Its not that I haven't ever been but I'm used to having an appointment and one lady always cutting it.
Funnier yet, I didn't get the lady I want to cut my hairs name.. So I will be easy to spot just look for the dork pointing and saying *that blonde haired lady .. Over there.. Yeah I want her to cut mine please*

Its gonna be another
Long day.. I can tell already!
Wyatt doesn't want to go swimming this morning/early afternoon which is fine.. I have to shower and get ready to head to the store this evening anyway. My compromise with the boys was if you want to go, we have to be home by 3pm so I can get ready.
This of course put little ron in an ill mood, after all his first words as I kicked him out of bed were *can we go swimming?* uh child can your feet at least touch the floor before you start?
So I guess the wildabeast is going to help keep him busy with some stuff he needs help getting done.
So now wyatt is being a pain and having mini fits on me although most of the time I'm not sure what he is fitting over.
Owen has been pretty good a few cranky spells but nothing major although he is back to waking up a few times per night .. Thankfully he has been easier to get back to sleep.
All I know is this mama needs a break .. This week saturday can't seem to get here quick enough *lol*
Hopefully next week will be better.. Those few days being stuck in the house has made this week a tough one. I know the boys are just stir crazy and need to run around and burn off the bottled up energy..
I just can't wait for tomorrow.. Forecasting 100* and I'm not sure if I want to drag owen in that heat even to go to the water.. Guess we will just take it one day at a time and see what happens.

Can we go swimming
I wanna go swimming.. Can we go? Can we go now? Are we gonna go?
Not now little ron.. It looks like rain little ron.. How cool is the water today little ron, if its to cold owen won't go in.. Owen is napping little ron..
Its not raining.. The sky don't look that bad..

Do you see what my morning/afternoon had been like? And because I say *i dunno* apparently that is todays super secret code word for *please start fighting guys.. *
I might make it threw the day with a few strands of hair left but I won't guarantee it.
I think non-swim days are more punishment for me than anything.. I know they are bored but isn't there something else they can do rather than the *i can scream louder than you* game?

Had the
Boys re-check appointment today at the docs. The good news is owen no longer has an ear infection. They checked his lungs and they are clear, however he is back on the nebulizer every night before bed and is also on an allergy med before bed to hopefully get rid of his runny nose. If it don't do any good than its back to the doc he goes so we can try something new.
Wyatt however still has an ear infection so its another round of meds for him and a re-check in another two weeks.
No swimming for us today due to the rain.. I think the break will be good both for this over tired mama and for owens nap today. Owen wouldn't nap at the water yesterday, every time he fell asleep I would lay him in the busch cart and his eyes popped back open. This resulted in a later nap at home and an even later bedtime for him and everyone else.. Which resulted in over sleeping this morning and mad dashing it around the house and out the door to the doc appointment.

Rain..
I had planned to take clyde swimming today since owen was at moms house and I admit I'm still not ready to brave the two of them together at the water.. But it rained most of the day. The point that I stayed up much to late last night and slept till an hour I won't tell is besides the point *lol*
The rain finally left and the sun did peep out a bit later this afternoon/early evening so at least little ron did get to go fishing with ron.
Now its after midnight and I have one boy asleep, one watching cartoons hopefully sleeping soon and ron and little ron still fishing at the end of the road.
This past week has been one of which that old saying *if life gives you lemons make lemonade* comes to mind and makes me wonder *but what if you can't find the sugar* .. The good thing is I'm standing here with the scoop just waiting for the damn sugar.. That my friends is always the hard part.
Maybe someday I will disclose the curve balls tossed into my world but not today.. But maybe someday. The good thing is that everyday no matter what I am happy to know that I'm loved.. By my husband and my boys.. That is one thing I will never doubt no matter what.

summer fun
i dont mean to not be blogging much these past few days but my boys have soo been keeping me busy...
we have been swimming every day getting down to the road around 2pm at the latest (normally after owens nap) and than not getting home to near 5-6pm ~
after that we hurry up, shower, eat dinner and than its off to a walk with our clyde. we have been walking at night with my sister and erik and of course jo (her boxer) and i must say the pups have been getting along better the more we walk them which is a good thing! clyde isnt barking nearly as much anymore. ooh and i was soo proud of clyde today, mom came to the house and he didnt even do as my sister would say *the kidney bean dance* or get all excited.. he pretty much just looked at her and was like *yeah whatever your here again* so thats awesome!
with swimming we have had so much fun being reminded of the stuff we swim with.. stingrays and eels.. and the latest, sharks .. little baby ones but still .. little ron caught one yesturday along with a fish that kept chasing the kids.. to funny and too cute! chased them all over the place. at first they thought it was a sheeps head but after looking online the colors are right but the body shape makes us question it.. so maybe but yet maybe not.
well that has been my few days.. i will try to update more often.. just more swimming swimming sunning and fun at the water..

Good morning
Well ron and lil ron went fishing again last night. Again nothing keep'able was caught but lil ron did catch an eel.. They so freak me out.. And a baby stingray.
So far the only keep'able catches this year so far was some crab they got a few days ago which are now cleaned and frozen for future cooking.
Ahh the joys of knowing exactly what we are swimming with *lol*
Wyatt, owen, and I walked down last night to see the guys fishing so we got the joy of seeing the eel ..
Also made it to walmart last night to exchange the boys suits and got them new ones, so now they are all set for summer. As for me, I'm going to shorts and tank top it for a while until I find a suit I really like.. I personally think for now it will be easier specially with my dealing with owen.
Today is a deff swim day for us.. The sun is shine'n although there are some clouds in the sky.. From what I have seen threw the window they are all puffy and white. Although you can always tell who lives here year round vs vacationers.. At the sight of a bit of rain vacationers run for cover .. Residents tend to swim it out until they see lightning.. What can I say we just know a bit of rain don't mean a bad storm.
I was considering bringing clyde today but I think I will wait until owen is a bit more comphy in his float and until I have a safe place to put owen down at.

Spent
Yesterday at the water with my guys.. Owen seems to like the watch which is a good thing. He made it about two and a half hours before he decided he had enough and was ready to head back to the house. I think he would have lasted longer if he could have gotten down to play.. We are deff. Investing in one of them gate play yard things.. I am considering using the travel playpen until we purchase one but have serious concerns on how long he will last in it.
The bigger boys had fun swimming and of course little ron was fishing. Ron came down to do some fishing too ~ I believe ron was the only one who caught a fish.. A small stingray so nothing keep'able. Although little ron did catch a cast net full of bait fish which they did hold onto to freeze for future use.
Today was a non-swim day for us because I have to take the boys suits back and exchange them for bigger sizes.. I also need to find myself new bottoms and buy them, although the shorts were a good idea, this is one mama who refuses to spend all summer swimming with a super wedgie which is what occurs with perfectly good and comfortable swim shorts when they get wet. Can we say *ouch* soo not cool on any level!

my guys
as in ron and little ron have just left for some night fishing.. hopefully they will have an eventful time and not one just sitting and waiting all night for the big fishes to bite ~
i took clyde for a walk after his bath earlier.. such a good boy he is! although i have decided that if the redneck taco dog charges him again, i will let him eat it *lol* j/k why must little dogs have such big issues with big dogs?
clyde does well though, although he will look he never barks which is just what we want him to do.. now if only i could get him to not bark at jo (my sisters dog) all would be good.. not sure when if ever that will happen though.. for some reason he is about the only dog i cant get clyde to shush around.. maybe he senses something?
the kiddos came home tonight.. gosh i sure do miss them when they are gone for even just one night although i do love the mini breaks ..
tomorrow we will start getting ready for our summer filled with sunning and swimming.. still am looking for a portable fence thing for my owen to play in while we are down there, something that i can lay a blanket in and know that if he crawls around he wont be going off the sea wall.. my worst fear for him down at the water right now.
i told little ron we needed to make sure that all the tires on the busch cart had air in them as well as getting everything together.. boogie boards and chairs.. the cooler for the busch cart etc.. this way we can start hauling things to the water, although i know he wont be thrilled when i remind him that we need to put the boogie boards and such in his fishing cart for a while anyway... owen although sitting up very well on his own as he should at 10 months old is no where near ready for a loaded cart full of stuff and for him to sit in just one spot...
tomorrow will be our first day down swimming for a longer period of time.. although both bigger boys will know that when owen says its a day.. its just that a day.. and we pack up and head home.. at 10 months old i dont think he is ready to be down there for 5 hours at a time.. but we will see how much time we do get out of him and maybe make multiple trips down depending on how he is doing.. at least with the busch cart he will have a place to nap that is both covered and comfortable with its padded bottom...

Sunday june 7th
Yesterday was our towns birthday.. Apparently its officially 50 years old now. Not sure what was all at the festival as we didn't go.. But I do know that last night they were blowing off fireworks. When I spoke to my sister, she said her and erik went and watched the fireworks but stayed in front of the coffee shop. From what she saw the festival was much of nothing.. Said there were a few booths and of course a beer tent but that was about it.
Of course I'm assuming most was closed down by than..
Todays another lazy day..
Little ron took his boat out for a bit and rode around in the sound.. The end of the street was full of rednecks and the neighborhood drunkards .. A typical weekend thing anymore.
Unfortunately he started having engine trouble so the boat had to be lifted over the sea wall and put on the trailer.. Even if he wanted to gaff (spelling) his way to the boat ramp its hard to do with how deep the channel is in certain areas.
Oddly enough the rednecks handed a birthday invite to my bigger boys for their soon to be 2 year olds birthday party. We have never spoken to them and surely not on a regular basis.. Plus why would my 15 and 7 year olds want to attend a 2 year olds party? Weird.. My only conclusion is its because the older boy is here visiting again. But who knows..
Its bath day for my clyde again.. Fixing to toss him into the tub and than maybe see if heather wants to take our guys (my clyde and her jo) for a walk.. Still working on them becoming friends.. The more we walk them together the more they will get along..
Well time to head off to do that before its to late.. My guys will be coming home before I know it..

Of course I'm assuming most was closed down by than..
Todays another lazy day..
Little ron took his boat out for a bit and rode around in the sound.. The end of the street was full of rednecks and the neighborhood drunkards .. A typical weekend thing anymore.

Shopping
Why does it have to take forever? Went last night and got everything done.. Bought everyone swim suits only to have the boys try there's on and find out.. Gotta exchange them for bigger sizes *ack* but not a huge deal. Little ron only needs one size bigger and I was concerned based on how the sizing was.. Wyatt I think will need to be with to try on as his was much smaller than it should have been on him.
As for me they had the shorts I was looking for *does the happy dance* and the tankini top I found is *roomy* enough for me not to feel to uncomfortable. I'm not to overly thrilled about the brown on brown but once I have a nice tan going it won't look as *weird*
Also went to check out the new harris teeter.. I wasn't impressed.. I'm always looking for some *from where I grew up foods* unfortunitly I don't think I will ever find them here at home. Let's face it the only place you will get a tasty chicago dirty water dog.. Is in chicago. And a bakers square chocolate pie.. Ack I can't even think of the name but yummy.. Can't get them here either *blah*
Anyways... Took the kids and tried out a new hair place here in town.. My bigger boys once again look like boys! I'm pleased with the place and the cuts so now I will see how they do with my mop ~ I really liked the lady who did wyatt but wouldn't count out any of the others there. Its hard to judge by lil rons because he is my shy teenage boy who just sits, zones, and waits for the lady to be done..
All the boys are at mothers tonight .. They are helping her get the rooms ready for wires to be ran tomorrow.. She is having the dish network put in finally.. Wyatts excited because he no longer has to watch cartoons threw snow *lol*

well
wyatt missed his last day of school too.. im not sure if it was that he was afraid of being sick or that he knew that so many werent going today that he didnt want to go.. but i found myself again getting a crying child ready to head out the door.. he is excused per docs orders all week so i caved and let him stay home.. it just wasnt worth the fight for a half day spent watching a movie and having a picnic.
he did go with ron to get the rest of his stuff and his teacher gave him a HUGE hug which made him feel great.. than he spent a few hours napping on the couch this afternoon..
now im waiting to head out to the store.. the dreaded bathing suit shopping awates me and *ack* well we all know how i feel about that *lol*

in other news for today june 4th
my owen is now officially 10 months old ~ ah where has the past 10 months just vanished too? he is getting way to big to fast.. i sometimes wish he would slow down a bit...
my nephew brandon did graduate from the 8th grade and will be joining my lil ron and my nephew sean (brandons big brother) in high school next year. he seemed a bit nervous about it but i know he will do great! i wasnt able to attend his 8th grade celebration this morning though, because wyatt was out another day from school.. he was up so late last night and than this morning was in so much fear of getting sick in school.. i felt one more day home was okay to give..
tomorrow is the official last day of this school year and we will all be attending wyatts 1st grade picnic.. yes i gave in and decided to let little ron join us .. after all its only a half day and they arent doing anything in the high school.. so i caved *lol*
seems like alot of parents are doing it as well.. so at least im not the only one caving to the last day of school off thing *lol* i know my sister is allowing her boys to stay home. mainly because the middle school is only doing a dance (oh joy) and brandon is dead set against going and of course the high school is doing nothing at all so why bother going? *lol*
sometime tonight or tomorrow i will hope online and check little rons grades out to see how he did with his final exams .. im hoping he did good.. he had a few hard ones, one in horticulture and the other in animal science two. so we shall see...
oh i dont remember if i *bragged* here or not.. but little ron was only one of two kids that didnt have to take the math exam.. ah so proud of him! if i did already brag.. well sorry for the re-write...
anyways.. my guys (little ron and ron) are out fishing and should be home soon.. i have a few last minute things i need to get done before climbing between the sheets..
cant wait.. only one half day left and than our summer officially begins!! *dances around*

i know a little late
but we had wyatts meeting with his teacher and the special education team today. i was so nervous going in.. i mean the whole *unknown* side of what they could have found.. was it something that i would feel the need to have double checked before agree'ing to any kind of *plan* or is it something that would have made sense ~
first of all let me say that i have had so many big words tossed at me today it wasnt funny and im still left wondering what coding and encoding of words has to do with anything ~
but i made it threw the meeting and came home to go over the mounds of paper work i was given and ultimately figured it all out.. well other than that coding thing.. it still has me *wink*
okay so i will admit that i was soo plesently surprised! my wyatt i swear is a brain with just a bit of issues that will easily be worked on and fixed! and i told him that he was a brain and how happy i was with all i heard today..
of course they did the whole *what a pleasure he was to work with* speach .. ha thats because they dont know the real wild child.. *lol* seriously though wyatt is very friendly to everyone so i do hear that alot.. give him 2 minutes and he will talk your ear off..
wyatt scored awesome when it came to Verbal comprehension (93), Perceptual reasoning (100), working memory (94), processing speed (100) and that totaled out to be a 95 .. which is awesome!
than they moved on to basic reading and reading comprehension in which he recieved a 77 in both .. which of course is considered low.
than they went to Phonological awareness (94), Phonological memory (91), rapid naming (91) .. all of which are great scores.. and than Alternate rapid naming (79) again not so great...
*hmm* i just read this part.....
"on the rapid naming subtests, which measures the ability to rapidly recall information from long term memory, wyatt scored in the average range for letter names and numbers and in the low range for recall of colors and pictures." intersting..
yes im still doing a bit of decoding as you can tell...
anyways.. what it all boils down to is wyatt does qualify for special education.. he will recieve help in reading each day as well as continue on with speach therapy although his speach therapist says he is doing awesome in speach therapy! he will also get help with fine motor skills and they do not feel this will be a long term thing.
they said that it is better to catch it now and work with him than it would be to do if he were in say 4th grade.. so all in all it was a good meeting!

Ugh
Now I dunno what to do.. Wyatt was fine all day today.. No fevers, playing etc. And now he's having coughing fit after coughing fix and puke'n up boogies from his belly (sorry)
So the question is... To send him to school tomorrow or not ~
On one hand I want him to go.. To enjoy his last few days with his friends.. But on the other I don't want him to go and get sick at school because he got over heated from playing.. Because he ate something or drank something he shouldn't have. Not to mention its almost 11:30 pm and he is no where near getting any sleep to have to wake up at 6:30am ...
I just dunno.. Decisions decisions..
And plus if I was to go to my nephews 8th grade celebration.. That puts me a good 30 minutes or so away from wyatts school.
The more I think about it the more I'm leaning to him staying home.. Guess we will see what the morning brings and go from there..

My guys
Seem to be feeling better today. Thankfully no fevers for wyatt so it looks like he is good to go back to school tomorrow with a note to take it easy and about 12 reminders to do the same as he walks out to the bus.
Owen is still a bit clingy but that's expected. So far no fevers for him *thankfully*
Tomorrow is my nephew brandons 8th grade celebration.. Mother asked again if I wanted to go.. I know I really should but I'm still undecided if I will or not.
Tomorrow is also our final meeting with special education to find out what the further testing told them as well as what they can do for wyatt next year. I hope we have more of a clue how to help him education wise and a better understanding of what his needs might be. I guess all we can do is wait and see what they have to say and than go from there..
Tomorrow my owen will be 10 months old *pouts* where is the time just disappearing to? I sometimes wonder if he will be our last or if we will be lucky enough to have baby number 4. Don't get me wrong I am completely happy with my family.. But after years of trying to conceive after planning in the beginning the 4 close in age babies we originally wanted.. It just makes me wonder if we will ever have that last one. Age doesn't give me years to wait..not this time. Just one of the many areas of life that I wish I was able to peek into the future on.

*argh*
So the wildabeast was bragging *i met this guy up at the nature trail boat ramp who was telling me about this company that hires electricians, plumbers, etc. Even if you have never done it before they will train you. Good pay, good benefits, and good work hours *
Hmm I'm curious.. So I ask what's the company name? *i can't remember * says the wildabeast * but they do a lot of work here.. Here and here and they are supposed to be located in industrial park somewhere by the hospital * okay that's rather general now isn't it..
So I decide to do a little internet investigating and he says *thats the name right there * uh.. That particular company is in selma no where near us (or is it?) but its deff not in industrial park behind the hospital.. That much I do know.
So what good is this info you have? Its worth nothing.. Nada.. Zilch

Back from the docs
Owen woke up with a boogie nose so we opted to have him checked to. Figure if he has what wyatt has its better to catch it earlier than later.
My poor sweet wyatt.. He has an ear infection. We kinda thought he would but I so hate for him to hurt and me stuck with no over night cure, just meds and waiting for them to do there job. They also gave him cough meds to help him sleep and put him back on his neb due to a bit of weezing. Needless to say he is out of school at least one more day. Its an open note so if the fever is still present he can miss until its gone. As mom though I would really like to see him enjoy the ice cream social on thurs and the school picnic on friday. But we will take it day by day.
Owen has an ear infection as well.. So he's on meds as well. He has been a bit fussier but I thought it was just his teeth. Good thing we had him checked as well today.
Needless to say we won't be at the water for awhile.. Maybe everyone will be okay to return to swimming next week.. Just another day by day thing.

June 1st
And the last week of this school year..
Little ron had his first final today.. Believe it or not it was in gym.. Weird. Apparently he had to take it because he missed 3 days of school.
Wyatt got today off school due to waking up with a fever. Poor guy! He than started complaining of his ear hurting.. So we have an a.m. Appointment with the doc to see what's up. So our day has spent fighting fevers and ear pains..
Owen woke me up at O'dark hundred this morning.. I'm beginning to think he is going to be a morning guy like ron.. I suppose I can't complain to much after all my other guys would sleep in at his age.. Wyatt is still not a morning person.. So much like his mama *lol*
As for now .. The last load of laundry is in the dryer and I'm spending some time with ron before I head off to bed..
