anyways, she also moved her company controlled 401k that she started nearly 18 years before and rolled it into a friendlier IRA and took a small bit to do some needed repairs on her house...
needless to say that added income became something to fear at tax time.. after all how would they screw her? well they tried by claiming it was *early withdrawl* but i was able to counter their screw with a screw you in the form of a *due to loss of job* so HA on them.
moms happy, she can now stop stressing how to pay the county and town taxes on her property which although not overly huge, is alot to come up with on the lovely unemployment benefits she is able to collect while on her job hunt.
who would have thought though, after 18 years of employment you would find yourself hunting high and low for a new job..
well at least thats one thing off my *to do* list that i can mark.. left now are washing the clyde who is in desperate need of a bath since he missed his last week bath (he gets at least one a week depending on the dirty factor.. after all if he became a mud pup on wed, he would surely not wait till sunday for his weekly bath).
and somewhere in there im going to toss myself in the tub before my husband thinks he is married to a big foot.. can we say *goonie goo goo gus??
poor ron is finding himself in wilmington again today but luckly its only until around 4pm and than the long drive home.. fun fun fun .. not really, i know he isnt happy about having to go down, but one must do what one must do.
