its late and i should be in bed

just ask ron who should be calling me again shorty and reminding me of the obvious *babe now you know that owen is going to wake you up early and so are the bigger boys and your going to have to get up*
yeah yeah yeah blah blah blah..of course i know first off that his heart is in the right place and secondly that hes right, come some unearth'y hour in the morning i will be kicking myself in the butt because i stayed up so late playing online.
but still
tonight was worth it, i got to spend a good bit of time talking to my *sister* sue. okay so truth be told we arent really blood related sisters or any relation at all.. sue is my *sister* by choice, not one that i was forced to be related to by birth order or some other dna relation.
sue and i have been friends since freshman year in high school when i changed schools from valpo high (a school which i hated) to river forest sr high (a school that wasnt to much better).
the funny and odd thing was that sue HATED me from the beginning, i was new and for the first day everyone wanted to know about the *new* girl.. by day 2 i was a thing of the past .. short lived new'ness huh? but than there was sue, she was nice and she actually talked to me (her mistake *lol*) i think she found me extremely annoying at first but thats okay i have and will survive that aspect of our early on friendship.
before the end of 9th grade though we were always together to the point where her dad was overly annoyed never knowing what 2 teenage girls who spent the entire day together could possibly have to talk about over the phone after just a short bus ride home.
ahh if only he knew.. i mean *hello* we were teenagers after all *lol*
anyways.. sue has been my closest friend, the one who no matter if she agrees, disagrees, or whatever .. that you always know will be there no matter what.
i hated moving my senior year in high school and leaving my trusted friend.. but i had no choice..
we have managed to visit from time to time over the years, shared photos of our kids and communicated over the phone, online, and threw texts as much as time allows.
and even though for most of our friendship we have lived a good thousand miles apart, whenever we talk its like there is no distance at all.
hard to believe that already 21 years have gone by since i first met her in 9th grade..but she is the best! thanks hun for always being there for me, love you sis!
