thinking about tossing a pizza in the oven and just bouncing around the web for a bit although it seems the web is kind of dead today as well.
at least i managed to message back my dear friend blue who i have been so horrid on keeping in contact with lately.. shes a sweet woman who lives in west virginia that i *met* years ago on the HGTV dream home message board and pretty much the only one i have kept in contact with on a regular basis over the years.. i did a few others as well but slowly lost contact with them and well of course with the secondary message board being shut down it didnt help keeping in contact with anyone.
blue and i keep in contact threw private message over at hgtv and our pms are 80 posts strong for this run of them *lol* maybe its time we start a new one going *lol* she really is a great lady and a good friend!! always puts a smile on my face when i see shes had the time to respond back, even though i know her life has its hectic times like anyone elses.. *hugs to you blue* if you ever have had the time to come peek at my blog ~~
late last night i was talking to my *sister* sue via facebook messenger thingy and she was discussing her son and continue'ing on with his home schooling.. i told her of the wonderous ladies at the moms board who home school and she signed up *smiles* im so happy that she did, i think she will gain a wealth of information from these ladies and learn lots of stuff from them.
i still see the huge potential in home schooling your children although i do prefer a cross of home schooling and unschooling.. but i am one of the seemingly few whose kids are offered awesome public schools to go to and i am confident in our decision to keep them in public schools.. i can honestly say its one of the few things that keep us in the area we live in.
i find it kind of funny that when i was in high school i could have cared less about the school in general but now as a parent i cant help but insist my kids get the best educations possible to them. and yes our schools are some of the best!
oh well this isnt getting my pizza in the oven now is it?
i wonder.. can anyone see how board i am? *lol*
